      To continuously improve medical emergency treatment response ability and strengthen the medical emergency treatment for nuclear and radiological accidents, the First Clinical Department of Ministry of Health Medical Emergency Center held medical emergency treatment squad practice and training for nuclear and radiological accidents during Feb 25 to 26, 2013 in Baodi District, Tianjin; the members of medical emergency treatment squad for nuclear and radiological accidents and the emergency rescue office staff total 20people were trained.       The training was hosted by deputy director Li Rui. The director of First Clinical Department of Ministry of Health Medical Emergency Center Fan Feiyue made an important speech. Director Fan Feiyue fully affirmed the importance of carrying out emergency rescue practice, and reaffirmed the tasks and purposes of medical emergency rescue squad, pointing out that as the squad members of national team, everyone is charged with the national tasks, we must live up to come as soon as called, be able to fight as coming and fight to win when our country need us, do not insult our tasks entrusted by our country. The deputy director Jiang Enhai carried out the “emergency rescue plan for nuclear and radiological accidents” training. A member of the squad explained the site external exposure detection equipments. Finally the squad members carried out the practices of site protective clothing wearing and site rescue skill.       This training strengthened the emergency concepts and awareness of the emergency members and improved the overall emergency response ability of the emergency team.
